It seems to me that if you want to pay for child welfare services with a tax, that tax should be levied on pampers and baby formula and food. Stuff that people who have babies buy.
If you want to fund anti-beer-belly and anti-beer-goggles services, THEN you tax beer.

All “child” health care should be funded with a tax on milk, not beer.
And yes, I buy milk and do not buy beer.
