I did a piece on this character a while back:

He used to be halfway sane when he was an economic commentator, but when he branched out in to politics, he got kind of wacky.

I see age has not improved him any...

But he found a good formula for recognition: write for the NY Times, Central Banks and ANYTHING that brings about political power for the left.
