ABCDisney has already signed up Meghan McCain to pen a (or get a ghostwritten) book. The release date? 2010.
Just in time for the midterm elections and an excuse to put Meghan McCain in magazines and news programs.
The Left will use this to circumvent campaign finance laws yet still get talking points out there and to pigeonhole conservativism.
She needs to STFU
I know some people think being gay and republican is incompatible, but McCain (and Dubya before him) got a good chunk of the gay vote (about 1 in 4 gays). Personally, I think our time would be better spent making sure that we put an end to affirmative action (for race, gender, orientation, etc.) and fighting against any forms of discrimination against religion than trying to stop gay CIVIL marriage .
So you believe that the right to representation should be used for what??? Do the People have a right to representation on issues like sexuality or not?
Oh, and despite the fact that she seems reasonable on gay issues, she’s still a twit who most likely wants us to support the killing of the unborn.
Detroit Free Press:
Reparations for Gays
... like we need more family members of losing Presidential candidates giving us boneheaded political advice in their 15 mins of celeb-fame.. Good grief, I am starting to like the Kerry and Gore daughters more. At least they didnt try to tell me what to do.
People have to stop falling for this total nonsense.
these cable shows and some Internet sites bring out people who are totally irrelevant and amplify what they are saying at the moment. This girl’s father was always a less than conservative and he LOST to one of the weakest most liberal candidates in history. It’s just like Whoraldo Rivera. Who in the world listens to anything that ole over exageratin’ ole fool windbag has to say anyway? Then he has a few guests on his show who are totally irrelevant. These people have nothing to do with anything intellectual at all. I give whoraldo and this girl the middle finger and say get off my screen! You’re wastin’ my time.
FRays? FRaggots? FReers?
I don’t think so...
Let’s hope not, at least.
Homosexuality is a mental illness.
Unlike rape and child molestation it brings harm to those who choose to act on it.
You seem to be saying that we should turn our backs on people who suffer from depression or agoraphobia.
Yes, I agree. The libertarian position on this is probably the best one. No one should be forced to recognize a marriage. Boston values are not not Peducah values. Of course, all of this wouldn’t be such a big deal if the federal courts still respected the “rights” of the states
PLEASE GOD!!... Will a day go by when I don’t have to see this twit’s name on my computer screen? Why do people give her any credence?
Anyone could see that coming. Of course they will call for reparations. The gay rights movement is in reality already asking for special rights and is seeking to deny other citizens their rights.
This will not stop with homosexuality anyway. This is about full blown sexuality rights whereas the ultimate goal will be to liberate our children from sexual repression and to make the family obsolete. Just look at the news today whereas Vermont is seeking to make the exchange of child nudity legal for consenting children.
Within five to ten years the leftwing will be claiming that the age of consent is a violation of the Constitution. Mark my words.
No, Megan.
We need less fruticakes like you and your damn daddy.
It seems to me that the libertarian position is to lessen our liberty by claiming that no one should have representation on the issue of marriage and/or sexuality. Libertarians claim that the People should not have any say on issues such as how sexuality is displayed in public. That is not a position of liberty but a position of anarchy.
