Entirely predictable. There needs to be a lengthy public campaign to get the masses used to the idea of “dangerous right-wing radicals”, so that when they start imprisoning “domestic terrorists”, nobody will bat an eye.
Of course, the definition of “domestic terrorist” will gradually evolve to mean anyone who speaks out against the government and will not voluntarily surrender their firearms when the time comes.

Interestingly, on another thread, it was pointed out that these "warnings" were penned by former ADL wonks. Sort of like - "Everybody hates us, so it's OK for us to hate whoever we want". Which is really what this is about. They hate us, therefore we are bad and must be neutralized.
As recently as 20 years ago, American embassies had State Department officers on staff whose job was to negotiate for release of political prisoners in countries like Chile and Cuba.
And now? We’ll be funding communism in Cuba and arresting Americans in the USA for dissent.
I think I’ll move to Cuba.
