Man severely beaten at Federal Way transit center

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —

Police are checking surveillance video as they try to identify people who beat a man at the Federal Way Transit Center.

The 32-year-old Kent man was waiting for a bus Tuesday night when he asked another man to quiet down.

The Kent man was knocked down and beaten. He was treated for a broken jaw and other facial bones at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

DHS has scrubbed this story form most of the web as well.

It would be politically incorrect to suggest that three young blacks beat up a white guy. I don’t know what happened, and they certainly won’t tell us if that’s what did happen, but I notice that two of the responses to this article suggest as much. And much of the violent crime in Seattle when I was there some years ago had this connection.

Yes, thanks, Cindy. As I suspected. From the Seattle P-I, the third item on your list: The initial attacker was described by police as a black man, age 18 to 21 and about 5-foot-8. He wore long, dark shorts, a white T-shirt, dark shoes and a blue or black baseball hat over braided hair.

The second attacker was described as a black man, about 5-foot-8. He was wearing long dark shorts, a black T-shirt with white lettering, dark shoes and a black baseball hat with a yellow bill.

A group of black males, ages 18 to 21, then approached the man and one of them hit him in the side of the face, the man said.

The victim turned and faced the male and they began a physical fight, Bunk said. While the victim and a man were fighting, another male in the group came from another side and struck the victim in the side of the face, causing him to fall, Bunk said.
