Somehow I don't think that would fly.
It’s just slightly better than “undocumented.” Slightly. They’ll never bring themselves to use the correct term, “illegal aliens,” or “foreign invaders.”
What happened to “undocumented workers”? Unauthorized makes it sound like they don’t belong here... and they don’t. I guess there was too much backlash so they slightly stiffened their PC terminology. Their posturing is so transparent to anyone paying attention though.
Pew just keeps pushing this crap down our throats. I am sick of paying taxes to provide ENDLESS benefits to invaders.
Obama is bankrupting the country and Dept of HS is sending memos to all police chiefs that people who actually pay taxes are potential “terrorists.”
I knew this was going to be very very bad but each day they keep upping the rhetoric and hate.
When are we all going to get smart and cancel our TV subscriptiosn to bankrupot the TV newsmedia. We nailed the newspapers and they are almost dead.
I don't do surveys or studies. However, since I'm down here where the rubber meets the road, I have to call BS on this statement. That's a blatant lie.
Beat me by 5 seconds!
According to that c*** Andrea Mitchell, “aliens come from outer space.” She actually said that to Pat Buchanan on camera the other day.
Well, isn't that precious.
The word’s etymology dates back to ancient Latin. Somehow I don’t think they were talking about space aliens when they originated that word.
The very first, primary definitions of “alien” in The Free Dictionary are:
Adjective: “Owing political allegiance to another country or government”
Noun: “An unnaturalized foreign resident of a country.”
You don’t get to outer space until noun definition #4.
And about 100% of emergency room patients on a Saturday night...
About three-quarters (76%) of the nations unauthorized immigrant population are Hispanics. The majority of undocumented immigrants (59%) are from Mexico, numbering 7 million. Significant regional sources of unauthorized immigrants include Asia (11%), Central America (11%), South America (7%), the Caribbean (4%) and the Middle East (less than 2%).
Total US population: 11.9 million, with a range of 11.4-12.4 million
California: 2.7 million, range 2.5-2.9 million
Texas: 1.45 million, range 1.3-2.45 million
Florida: 1.05 million, range .9-1.1 million
New York: 925 thousand, ramge 800 thousand to 1.0 million
New Jersey: 550 thousand, range 500-600 thousand
Other top ten states: Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Virginia
Nearly half of unauthorized immigrant households (47%) consist of a couple with children. That is a greater share than for households of U.S.-born residents (21%) or legal immigrants (35%). This difference stems in large part from the relatively youthful composition of the unauthorized immigrant population. Most children of unauthorized immigrants73% in 2008are U.S. citizens by birth.

I think these number are way off. Jeffrey Passel is one of the biggest open borders proponents in the country. James Walsh, former Assistant General Counsel at INS, writes, “My estimate of 38 million illegal aliens residing in the United States is calculated, however, using a conservative annual rate of entry (allowing for deaths and returns to their homelands) of three illegal aliens entering the United States for each one apprehended. My estimate includes apprehensions at the Southern Border (by far, the majority), at the Northern Border, along the Pacific, Atlantic, and Gulf of Mexico coasts, and at seaports and airports. Taking the DHS average of 1.2 million apprehensions per year and multiplying it by 3 comes to 3.6 million illegal entries per year; then multiplying that number by 10 for the 19962005 period, my calculations come to 36 million illegal entries into the United States. Add to this the approximately 2 million visa overstays during the same period, and the total is 38 million illegal aliens currently in the United States.” His entire article, which is worth the read, is here: http://www.thesocialcontract.com/artman2/publish/tsc_17_4/tsc_17_4_walsh.shtml
Obviously Pew is building a case for massive amnesty.

I will not vote for anyone who does not vigorously campaign for the repeal of the ridiculous “anchor baby” law. It is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT required by the Fourteenth Amendment.
Can I make “unauthorized” income so I don’t have to claim it on my “authorized” taxes?
