I don't want to hear any of this crap about how we need to support Specter because of judges, committee chairs, better an R than a D, etc. BULL! I heard this crap in 2004 and if Bush would have just stayed out of it, Toomey would have won. Specter deserves to lose, if Toomey loses in the primary, then he needs to run 3rd party. SPECTER NEEDS TO GO!

Let’s see if Hugh Hewitt decides to be an idiot a second time around and endorses Specter again for the reasons you listed.
Good post. I just posted about the same thing earlier this morning. I took a lot of grief from folks on this website in 2004 for advocating Specter’s defeat. believe it or not there are still some spewing this in 2009.
