If FR really wanted to wake up the world, it’d start its own tv programming. Somebody with the know-how ought to check into sites like blinkotv.com and see if this is feasible. Time to say “we are the media” before we lose another election, and maybe a nation. Somewhere out there, there are people who can do in tv what Rush did in radio, and it’s high time they did.
What happened here is a bunch of folks organized simultaneous protests nationwide using little more than email and twitter.
They then covered their own story with their own equipment and disseminated the news to everyone who really mattered ~ the public.
TV was free to join in, but most didn't - only the most confident of networks (FOX) or the most desperate (MSNBC) actually sent people out to do something than argue with people (CNN).
And where were ABC, CBS, NPR? ~ I think they were taking inventory of their billions of dollars worth of broadcast equipment.
I appreciate the teaparties very much, but it was a given that they would be ignored by our elected officials and impugned by the MSM. We need to start forcing them to hear the people.

Agree with you. The tea parties are great, and I’m all for them. But that action alone is not going to change things in this country. Your suggestion is needed also...in a big way.
TV is still a vital part of what affects the nation. Internet has its place too, but TV is massive.
