My intention is not to piss off any Catholic Freeper, but my lifelong respect of the Catholic Church and schools has taken a terrible beating of late.

I understand your frustration. However, it’s not the Catholic Church. Georgetown, like ND, and many other “Catholic” Universities, as well as individual Catholic High Schools and k-8 schools (and Parishes), sometimes don’t follow the teachings of the Catholic Church.
