Matthew posted earlier about the remarkably unprofessional behavior of CNN’s Susan Roesgen at the Chicago Tea Party yesterday.
Founding Bloggers was at the scene after one of the tapings ended and found participants calling out Roesgen on her misrepresentation of the event. And yes, the clip is “family viewing,” despite what CNN would have you believe.

The last few minutes are chilling reminders about not learning history and being doomed to repeat it. The fall of Rome will look like a cake walk compared to the fall of the US if we don’t get on this and quick.

My sister saw it on FR and sent it in emails to a lot of people and I posted it on a website where a lot of liberals got to watch it. LOL!!!! Do not feel you are not making a difference. I have an activist friend in another state I sent it to as well. I can tell you that your efforts are making more of a difference than you know. Keep up the good work!

Sure! The video is a description of the 5 supposed forms of government, from 100% government control (Communism, facism, totalitarianism etc) to 0% government (anarchy) it obliteraties all forms of government as only temporary and futile except for 2, olgiarchy and republic. It does this in a clear concise manner, which effectively shows even a grade schooler about them. It then, in the last few moments, explains Rome, its beginning as a republic, and its morph into a democracy. The parallels are well put, and clearly where this country is today. It is an excellent way to spread the word to those who have never been taught proper history, and that is alot of people since they have been re writing it for so long now.

I have tried to explain to people who have forgotten...we are a Republic and always have been. But if they've not forgotten, most never paid attention in the first place when learning about our government and our country.
The "Democratic" part (that so many refer to now as our form of government) as I learned was implemented by our Forefathers who provided us with a Republic and also instituted that we have a Democratic rule in effect. This was set in order to have our lawmakers respond to the peoples' needs/requests to make the laws of the Republic so they protected the majority of the people. The key word being "majority," not the minority as we see laws coming from today's government law-makers.
I remember this confusion and misuse of the term - Democratic - sprouting in the 60's when everyone was claiming and clammoring for their "rights" in a "Democracy." They were never corrected. Fortunately, I had a wonderful history/civics teacher in HS who made this very clear to us. Evidently, not for many, however. Now those people have grown up and are teaching that we are a Democracy and today's young people (who are not even taught Civics or know how our government operates)have no clue about the truth, or the difference.
I would hope that this video reminds some of the adults. But, so many have been brainwashed that they might not even believe it. When the children of today are adults, America probably won't be a Republic or even a Democracy, if Obama and his liberal-loving, socialist/communist leaning supporters continue unstopped.
Some called this country the "Great American Experiment." It seems that the experiment is being shelved. How sad for our country that we could become something less than the special and unique country that we have been. How sad that we could so easily fall into being the ordinary, taxed-to-death, unsuccessful form of existence like other people in countries that have never produced what we have and never given their people the opportunities and freedoms we have enjoyed here.
