Are you serious ?

This admin is purposefully gaming Israel .. canceling the appointment with Nentanyahu, putting Israel’s purchase of the F-35’s in doubt, and giving strong signals of their affinity for the insurgents of the world, especially talking with no preconditions with Iran, and the other radical Arabs, etc., as I posted above.

Did you EVER EVER hear Pres. Bush or Condi Rice in their statements about the two-state solution express anything but support and standing with this tiny, surrounded democracy against the attacks from Hamas and Hezbollah, etc.?

Powell? Colin Powell ? He’s an egotistical weasel, a nothing .. he showed his self-invested stripes too many times to even enumerate.

Time for Israel to activate another one of their young female operatives in the states and bring Obama down like they did with Monica and Clinton...snark

No one should really be surprised with this. It was all apparent and obvious during the campaign and for any one who cares about Israel and Israeli security(and these days Israeli security and US security tend to overlap) the evidence was overwhleming as to wher Obama’s sympathies lie and what kind of President he’d be. It was all there.

Given that only 22% of jews voted for McCain I have to conclude that nowadays there is a large segment of jews that just doesn’t care all that much about Israel.

I think the longer we get from the Holocaust and the days of the 67 and 73 wars when Israel’s very existence was at stake and you have a younger genration who have always known Israel and take it for granted that it’s not the issue it is for older jews who may remember a world without Israel or news coverage of the 67 and 73 wars when its fate hung in the balance.

I don’t know if the Jewish vote was broken down by age but I’d bet that if you just took say Jews over 50, McCain did much better than the overall 22% he got, and among Jews over 60 I’d say he did more than much better.

But it’s like in Genesis when there arose a new Pharoah who did not know Joseph...there has arisen a new Jewish population that just doesn’t know or doesn’t care or both.

Sad but True as Metallica might say.

While I am opposed to it, since the end of the Cold War (New World Order) it has been the objective of the United States to support the formation of a State of Palestine next to Israel. It is not a policy that the U.S. is going to all together abandon.

My father in law who served in the Israeli Army advocates the two state solution.

His words to me on the issue were:

“My children are Jewish and traveled to an Israel at war, my grandchildren are Jewish and traveled to an Israel at war and I want their children to travel to an Israel at peace. If we do not make peace with those people now, there will not be an Israel in 100 or 1000 years.”
