It appears not all the legal fees may accrue to the eligibility suits, since Bauer serves personally and presidentially, so I think it would be difficult to dissect,
and they aren’t disclosing which category. I have little doubt they’ll go down any more specifically than this .. another purposeful, confounded condundrum, IMO.
idk search Salim Hamdan and Perkins Coie kk?
I noticed that the POLITICO article on Bauer being brought onboard was dated 1/31/2009, so the question is, for what other purpose would Obama hire Bauer this year, if not to fight the eligibility lawsuits?
Whether it’s a dollar or a million dollars, there’s no denying that Bauer is being paid to fight the eligibility suits — of which Hollister v Soetoro is but one — out of a massive war chest: $18 million of which was been reported for this year, but there’s also about $150 million (at least) in contributions that have never been reported.
Meanwhile, the lawyers fighting Obama have to rely on donations just to hang in there.
The message is, “I’m Barack Obama, and I have hundreds of millions of dollars in donations that I will use to stomp out anyone who tries to take me into court.”
In case anyone neds written proof, here are two notices signed by Bauer from the Hollister v Soetoro case files:
