Los Angeles, CA (AP) -- A man suspected of pulling a badly injured USC student off a car windshield after a deadly hit-and-run accident was arrested while trying to cross back into the United States from Mexico, police said Saturday.
Josue (HOH'-sway) Luna, 32, of Los Angeles, was detained by federal agents at the San Ysidro border crossing at about 5:30 p.m. Friday after his name prompted a computer alert that he was wanted in Los Angeles, LAPD Officer April Harding said.
Luna was driven back to Los Angeles by LAPD officers and jailed on suspicion of being an accessory to the hit-and-run, Harding said.

Interesting that the S.F. Chronicle carried this AP news but I couldn't find anything in the L.A. Times about it.
His wife was driving the car—he was a passenger. That’s why he is accused of being an accessory.
Police have said that Cabrera was driving with a suspended license and that her 7-month-old son was in the car at the time of the collision.
Hopefully the child will be given to an actual human family to raise him.
The good news is that we will have to pay for his derelict parents, his foster care and their lifetimes in prison.

Marcus Garfinkle...was thrown onto the windshield of the car of the hit-and-run driver who killed Adrianna Bachan. He was carried 300 to 400 feet until the car stopped, and a passenger got out, dislodged him from the windshield, dumped him on the street with two broken legs and then sped away.
... Police say that Josue Luna, 31, Cabrera’s husband, was the passenger who got out and pushed Marcus Garfinkle off the hood of the green 2000 Infiniti, after Luna’s wife ran a red light and killed Adrianna Bachan. Also in the car: the couple’s 7-month-old baby.
