Stop voting for Republicans just because they are Republicans. Vote for conservatives who believe in less government and more freedom, and don't be afraid to vote third-party if necessary.

I certainly did my best, but unfortunately, I have only one vote. I voted for Rep. RON PAUL in the GOP Primary 'cuz he is a defender of the Constitution, & he has a track record a mile long that proves he truly is for less government & more freedom. You can't say that about any of the other GOP'ers who ran in '08.

I then voted for Pastor CHUCK BALDWIN of the Constitution Party in the general election 'cuz I knew good & well that Juan McCain has proven time & time again that he despises small government & freedom. He is a globalist CFR member who caters to the illegal alien crowd, & everyone w/ even a slight knowledge of political history who voted for him knew this!

A vote for Juan McCain was a vote against the sovereignty of the US, a vote against free speech, a vote against protecting our borders while @ the same time sending our military all over the globe to fight in areas that have little to do w/ protecting us here @ home. It was a vote for an angry, vulgar man whose temper was well known & who despised conservatives & those who respected family values & putting America first. It was a vote for continuing the influx of illegal immigration into the US.

Absolutely agree, I've voted for many third party candidates due to the entrenched corruption in the GOP/DNC two party system. I voted for Bush the first time looking to that next "Reagan" and to keep Gore from getting elected, then I amplified that mistake by voting for Bush a second time to keep Kerry from getting elected... after the 2004 election I swore I would never "give" someone a vote again, they will earn it from now on... with their record!

GOP had better wake up, as they are now in the process of being replaced. Conservatives just haven't found the right "vessel" yet... But we will.

I agree with virtually every word.

But did a vote for Chuck Baldwin do anything to advance free speech or combat illegal immigration? Did it not, in fact, help elect Barack Obama -- an even greater threat to free speech and an even bigger supporter of amnesty?

Your intentions were admirable, but as liberals won't do, we conservatives need to judge our actions by results, not intentions.

Just out of interest who did you 2 vote for in the primaries. Were you among the misguided who listened to Rush and played games in the democrat primaries? If you were, you were the problem. That idiocy got us McCane for a candidate. And here we are.
