I’ve seen the clip 15 times at least since it had 11 million views and my eyes have been wet at the end of every viewing. I think that this is God’s way of honoring Miss Boyle for the sacrifice of taking care of her mother.

A quick search of "Boyle" on Youtube pops up with the top four hits.

They now add up to an atounding forty million or so!!!

I’ve watched several times as well...I think this guy gets it too. It’s NOT just that a not very attractive (in the world’s eyes) woman brings down the house. The clip reveals the smugness of the audience who believed that someone who is not at all sophisticated or trained by vocal coaches could possibly succeed. They all wanted to believe that here was a woman who didn’t stand a chance and she surprised them totally and she moved them, and us, to tears.
