I’ve always wondered about the type of people who, with all the political causes out there, choose freedom to take drugs as their favorite.

And when someone can't counter an argument they inevitably go to personal attacks, assuming I am a drug user or I support drug users... not a good way to counter a factual argument.

If you have read any of my posts around FR then YOU would know my main "thing" is the Constitution and therefore any thing that violates it I take an interest in.

While I’ll admit that my comment was somewhat of a cheap shot, the underlying question is legitimate. With so many egregious violations of the constitution being committed for decades, there have to be better fights to pick than worrying about laws that mainly effect drug abusers. There are plenty of law abiding, hard working people whose rights get trampled every day. I am much more concerned with fighting for them. When those fights are done, maybe I will be more sympathetic to the dopers.
