While the rest of us may be worried about violent Mexican drug gangs on our border, or about terrorists who are going to be released from Guantanimo, the Director of Homeland Security is worried about "right-wing extremists."
Just who are these right-wing extremists?
According to an official document of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, right-wing extremists include "groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration." It also includes those "rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority."
If you fit into any of these categories, you may not have realized that you are considered a threat to national security. But apparently the Obama administration has its eye on you.
According to the same official document, the Department of Homeland Security "has no specific information that domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence." But somehow they just know that you right-wingers are itching to unleash terror somewhere, somehow.
So-called "honor killings" by Muslims in the United States, including a recent beheading of his wife by a leader of one of the American Muslim organizations, does not seem to arouse any concern by the Department of Homeland Security.

Yeah, this report would annoy me less if the foreign terrorists and the War on Terror itself had not been benignly redifined so recently. It reminds me of shortly after 9/11 when I heard naive libs say things like, “Muslims aren’t the only terrorists. What about the KKK, the IRA, and Tim McVeigh?”
It couldn’t have been more possible to be out of touch back then. As the years pass, it will get easier and easier to fall back into making no distinction between common criminals and the guys who bombed the World Trade Center in ‘93.
I have far more respect for people who disregard militia groups and foreing terrorists altogether. But to fear the former and soften on the later is lunacy.
BUMP!
“Why such an organization? For what purpose?”
To keep the masses contained, subservent, obedient...to keep from rising up against the admin.
My Constitutional rights are exactly that. And I will defend them...until I’m knee deep in brass.
How do you spell it?
Please disregard my last.... He did screw it up.

Americans don’t tolerate tyranny very well, or for very long. Perhaps the idiocrat statists are feeling some paranoia, since they know they have a malevolent agenda.
Paranoia strikes deep...
The way it was spelled in quotes, in my original reply.
I'd say it would be fun to see a little live teleprompter vandalism/ civil disobedience.
A jar of moths released nearby, or maybe a few wet tea bags on the lens would be hilarious!
If you think about it, the thoughts only have 1 direction to go: oppression!
Why in the heck would the DHS consider McVeigh types among conservatives, and they don’t even blink an eye at Zero’s KNOWN terrorist associates?
The admin is making this country into what old Europe used to be like, where if you disagree with the government, you are arrested, or they make your life miserable.
2010 guys!!! It has to happen or God help us all!
No problem. I try not to play spelling police, but that one was especially surprising.
I love what Rush said today about the DHS report including college professors who blow up government buildings like the Pentagon. Include them, too! All BO’s friends!
You know, it almost makes me wonder about the hidden agenda behind sending more troops to Afganistan. I pray that it is because they are ligitimately needed over there, and not.......
.....do I dare say it?
That’s right, most of BO’s friends should top the list.
Top of the Ping to ya!
A most appropriate post for this thread, Smooth. Thanks!
Thanks for the ping jaz.
Dr. Sowell hits it out of the ballpark once again.
I have no doubt that his economic policies are intended to cause failure of the capitalist economy, and allow a transition to the model of the State controlling the people and the means of production.
Alinsky Rules are intended to produce instability in the existing foundation, and promote insecurity of the system, in order to allow a “change”.
Afghanistan may or may not be different. We’ll have to see how it plays out. But I have no confidence in his decsion making, i believe he is operating from a bad faith, un-American position, as he is a usurper, a marxist and a fascist.
