WASHINGTON, (AP) -- For the first time, an accused domestic terrorist is being added to the FBI's list of "Most Wanted" terror suspects.

Daniel Andreas San Diego, a 31-year-old computer specialist from Berkeley, Calif., is wanted for the 2003 bombings of two corporate offices in California.

Authorities describe San Diego as an animal rights activist who turned to bomb attacks and say he has tattoo that proclaims, "It only takes a spark."

A law enforcement official said the FBI was to announce Tuesday that San Diego was being added to the "Most Wanted" terrorist list. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the announcement ahead of time.

“The move to add a domestic, left-wing terrorist to the list comes only days after the Obama administration was criticized for internal reports suggesting some military veterans could be susceptible to right-wing extremist recruiters or commit lone acts of violence. That prompted angry reactions from some lawmakers and veterans groups.”

“Authorities describe San Diego as an animal rights activist”

Guess he’s one of those dangerous right-wing nuts I’ve been hearing about lately. Wait, he committed crimes back in ‘03. That was before a black man became president, so conservatives weren’t blowing their lids yet.

By the way, San Diego is an awesome name, unless it’s fake, in which case I hate it.

If you ask me, Americas Most Wanted Terrorist should be Obama. He’s doing it from the top position in the country.

Anyone against Obama is most likely considered a domestic “terrorist”.

"Daniel Andreas San Diego, a 31-year-old computer specialist from Berkeley, Calif., is wanted for the 2003 bombings of two corporate offices in California."

Given the name, he sounds cracked; or, possibly a crackhead. ;^)

This from the Associated Quislings, and right on the heels of DHS's hatchet job on all who'd fall under the Republic's right-wing, huh.
Odd that, most timely. ;^)

A coincidence, I'm sure. :o)

(Shown Below)

Remarks: San Diego is a known animal rights activist with ties to animal rights groups. He is known to be a very strict vegan, eating no meat or food containing animal products. San Diego wears eyeglasses. He is known to possess a 9mm handgun.

San Diego is skilled at the use of computers to include setting up e-mail services and using the operating system LINUX. He is also skilled at sailing, particularly small sailboats. San Diego has traveled internationally.

CAUTION
Daniel Andreas San Diego is wanted for his alleged involvement in the bombings of two corporate offices in California. On August 28, 2003, two bombs exploded at the Chiron Corporation, located in Emeryville. Then, on September 26, 2003, a single bomb strapped with nails exploded at the Shaklee Corporation, located in Pleasanton. A federal arrest warrant was issued in the Northern District of California on October 5, 2003, charging San Diego with maliciously damaging and destroying, and attempting to destroy and damage, by means of explosives, buildings and other property.

Before dawn on Aug. 28, 2003, two homemade pipe bombs went off at the headquarters of Chiron Corporation, a biotechnology firm based in Emeryville, Calif. The second blast was time-delayed; the FBI suspects that may have been a tactic to harm emergency teams responding to the blast.

“They were well built, very sophisticated devices. They were not made with garbage — he actually went out and bought chemicals,” said Strange. “You have to know what you’re doing to build a bomb like this.”

A month later, on Sept. 26, San Diego struck again, authorities say, this time leaving a bomb strapped with nails at the Pleasanton, Calif., headquarters of Shaklee Corporation, which makes eco-friendly products like vitamins and shampoos.

The FBI says San Diego, who was 25 at the time, targeted Chiron and Shaklee for their ties to Huntingdon Life Sciences, a British-based research firm that performs laboratory testing on animals. The blasts caused damage to the buildings, but no people were hurt.

San Diego is a strict vegan and animal-rights activist who objects to animal testing. He’s covered his body in tattoos of burning plains and buildings, including one on his chest that reads, “It only takes a spark.”

Before the bombings, an animal rights group called Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty had been targeting Chiron and its employees with a wave of intimidation tactics meant to terrorize workers and drive the company out of business.

Other activists had been following workers to their homes and posting fliers accusing them of being “puppy killers.” Some even went to the employees’ children’s schools and continued their intimidation there. But San Diego took his work further, authorities say.

“He’s a very special case among people that practice animal rights extremism because, for the most part, they do not resort to bombing,” Strange said.

The FBI determined San Diego’s involvement after monitoring Internet postings taking credit for the attacks. “He had posted some writings on the Internet claiming responsibility,” said Strange. “Not under his own name . . . in the name of animal rights.”

An AMW (America’s Most Wanted) viewer recognized them and called our hotline, and thanks to the tipster, the FBI believes San Diego was recently in Pulaski, Va. Pulaski is a small town, just 40 miles north of the North Carolina border. The FBI believes that San Diego passed through the hamlet, but is most likely not living there.
