Liberals in Congress want to prosecute officials from the Bush administration - and Obama plans to let them do it.
Just days ago Obama declared it was time to move on from questions about the interrogation methods of terrorists. But now, after getting pressure from radical groups like MoveOn.org, he's given the green light for liberals in Congress to start their witch-hunt.

When questioned about the issue Tuesday, Obama specifically said he intends to leave it up to his political appointees in the Justice Department and members of Congress.
These are the same radicals that wanted to impeach Bush and Cheney!
It's not enough for them that they've won an election, now they want to put former Bush administration officials in jail. And they're willing to damage our country's intelligence efforts and national security to do it.
Barack Obama is opening the door for liberal Democrats to prosecute Bush administration officials for how they defended America against terrorism.
What's at issue is whether or not we're going to repeat the mistakes of the Clinton years. Whether or not we're going to make the people who defend our country too afraid of future prosecution to do their jobs.
And keep in mind that the work they did DID keep this country from suffering further attacks.
We can't afford to put our heads back in the sand when it comes to our country's intelligence. We learned that on September 11th.
Contact your members of Congress and tell them not to put our nation at risk by politicizing our national security.
Tell them not to repeat the mistakes of the past!

Why am I not surprised that he is doing this?
This is not a test of Obama's Whitehouse or anything like that, it is just another blatant example of how unAmerican he and his adminstration are., and how willing they are to pay back and satisfy the absolute far left marxists (liek themselves) whom they owe.

I just called both my Senator’s. I urge everyone to do the same.
The ultimate goal for Liberalism is to outlaw dissent. From this to hate crimes legislation, they seek to criminalize political philosophies that they do not approve of.
Why? I think prosecuting these officials for trying to and succeeding at protecting the country would be a big mistake.

I suspect that the reason for declassification of the CIA docs was to PROMOTE such a series of show trials.
What I'm saying is that I suspect that this is ALL Marxist Obama's (and his minders') doing, from the get go.
He needs to keep the citizenry focused on hating (and blaming) Dubya, while he dismantles the very framework of our Constitution and way of life.

GOOD! Let him imprison Bush’s people and even Bush himself! This will open a door—tyhe next person in the box will be Obama himself and his helpers. The Next Republican President can Pardon Bush and punish Obama. By then most Americans will be in favor of seeing Obama behind bars. Wait until he tries to cancel the elections of 2010.

What do you mean by “the next Republican President”? The goal is to ensure that there is never another Republican President...that the Republicans go the way of the Federalists after the 1800 election.
Yes, he’s a little low on distractions for us lately, since the AIG bonus reactions died down. This whole prosecution issue could last for months, during which he will push through more of his agenda when he thinks no one is watching.
This is just plain WRONG because it will set a precedent for future administrations.
And when we try 0bama for HIS crimes, look out liberals, you’ll go down, too.
The use of show trials to blacken and weaken enemies is certainly consistent with Obama's Stalinist upbringing. (People perhaps don't grasp the significance of the fact that his antecedents weren't "New Left" but in fact CPUSA-hardened Old Left apparatchiks, people who'd served Stalin in their youth.)
OTOH I certainly see your point, that Obama has shown a pattern of raising side circuses while he and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid concentrate on "side-door", no-debate, no-filibuster legislation, attaching things to budget bills in reconciliation to avoid debate and filibuster.
I think that, on balance, he basically believes in attacking across the board, very much like Russian tank tactics, and exploiting whatever fissure or crack opens up for him, wherever it appears. So I conclude that he is fully and committedly behind trying his predecessor in a show-trial atmosphere, while at the same time sneaking things through the Congress that he can use to build his massive Red Guards and seize control of medicine, education, and the leading institutions of the economy.
People just don't get it, what it means to have a red-diaper Marxist-Leninist in the White House. People are literally out of their minds -- driven there by the Katie Courics and Barbara Walterses.
Greece, Argentina, Indonesia, and Chile couldn't avoid very serious social conflict when they got as far down the road as they did, before their military stepped in, with the CIA egging them on (which is why the Left wants to try Henry the K.). I don't think we're any different. We've got our Salvador Allende, our Gustavo Arbenz in the White House. Except that Allende was a "useful idiot", a stalking horse -- Obama is himself the Communists' man, their Walther Ulbricht figure.
The Marxists with ACORN’s help are surely working oin grabbing control of the ballot box mechanism for counting the votes....count on it....as well as adding voters to the rolls.
This does three things:
1. Keeps the radical left engaged and frothing.
2. Keeps the base donating the $$$ Brack hasn’t yet confiscated.
3. Distracts the country from Brack destroying the free world.
It’s working out pretty well for him too.
