"In 2006, her feeding tube became blocked and an ambulance was called to the care home where she lived."

"Her husband complained about a delay in the ambulance arriving and taking her to hospital. He also complained that no arrangements were made to take his wife home after attending A&E, meaning in total she had spent 20 hours without fluids."

This happened in 2006 and the Scotsman.com is just now reporting this on 4/23/09? I would say not only is their health care deplorable, their reporting of news isn't the greatest either.

The hearing/decision was today or this week, took 3 years for NHS to hear the complaint/decide fault I guess.
