Maybe not officially, but that's what the press is reporting, that she gave the go ahead to George Tenant. If that's true, then either Condoleeza gets prosecuted, or Tenant get's prosecuted for failure to get proper authorization, and isn't he a holdover from the Clintons?
Either way, I see the prosecutions as a non-starter. They may be able to go after Bush and only Bush, but that's it. If Condoleeza was in the middle, there is no one else they can go after.
It was such a great comeback to her, that it just made my day —— when everything else seems to be falling around.
I have to laugh tho. Cheney was one of the best — if not THE best VPs in history. The presidents right hand and very much aware of all that was going on. If she doesn’t consider him a reliable source of information, then that says something about her herself.
