Even the concept of “codifying the court decision” was a sign of no backbone. Basically, the Conn. legislature bent over and allowed the courts to violate them.
And you can bet this will spread across the country.
the was nothing in the court decision that asked the legislature to “codify it’s decision”. it was weirdly worded opinion and an excuse by the legislature to do this.
