How does she know what his real name is, anyway? For all she knows, he could be Pat Oliphant trolling at FR to make us look bad. I have seen much more anti Semitism on the left than the right.

Well I could have gone out and found the same anti-Buchanan site you did, but you stated you had new information. Evidently you didn’t.

Please show me one place where Buchanan has advocated someone harm Jews or Israel. Failing that, please tell me one incident you are aware of where Buchanan himself has harmed a Jewish person or persons.

We live in a society that prides itself on freedom of speech. I don’t agree with some of Buchanan’s actions or his statements. That still doesn’t make him a hater of Jews or Israel.

Despite what you and other Buchanan detractors have dug up over time, Pat still has Jewish supporters. Do you consider yourself superior to them, or are you just smarter than they are?

Thanks for the info and you're right on the money about Deb: she should have checked it out at the source.

And, IIRC, she posted here for a few years...

The guys logic seems pretty sound.

I agree, but it's still speculation based on an analogy. It could have been someone that read him and agreed and reguritated...but it seems that question has been answered by the forum moderator.

If she’s after Sean for warming to Patsy, what about the producers of Morning Joe and Joe himself...Patsy’s on there essentially every day.

Thank you very much.

By the way, we RV’d overnight at Dad’s Camp on the mouth of the Klamath once back in the late ‘70’s. The owner, I believe his name was Williams, kept a large bonfire going most of the night. Enjoyed sitting around the fire listening to his stories.

Pat Buchanan is one of the biggest racists in this country. If he is still a member of the GOP, he should be booted ASAP as he is an embarrassment to the party and the country. MSNBC paints him as a conservative to discredit the GOP.

Buchanan is well known to have defended Nazis and even denied that that Holocaust ever happened. He once called Hitler “an individual of great courage, a soldier’s soldier in the Great War, a leader steeped in the history of Europe, who possessed oratorical powers that could awe even those who despised him.”

In addition to his hatred of the nation of Israel and love for the Palestinians, he has close ties to the KKK. The KKK is something you should know something about as it sounds like you have a white robe and dunce cap in your closet. He is a featured writer on David Duke’s website. What Buchanan said about blacks benefiting from slavery was and is a position held by the Ku Klux Klan yesterday and today. Pat showed his customary sensitivity when he called the 1967 Sharpeville Massacre in South Africa, in which 67 blacks were killed, “whites mistreating a couple of blacks.”

We would all be better off if Pat Buchanan left the party and even better if he left the country. He and you prefer a lily white neighborhood with no Jews.

FYI, my neighborhood and my friends are a melting pot of many different nationalities and I like it that way. How about you?

You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man’s age-old dream-the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism.

Just as likely it's a “progressive” posing as a conservative. Deception and duplicity are tools of the left and I would bet that the purported threat from the “anti-semitic” far right came from the ranks of far left.

It's necessary to keep things confused to create crises and chaos and establish that new world order.

In his 04/14/09 column, Buchanan complains about how the Nazi war criminal, John Demjanjuk, has been ordered deported to Germany to stand trial as an accessory to the murder of 29,000 Jews at the Sobibor concentration camp in Poland. “How many men in history have been so relentlessly pursued and remorselessly persecuted?”. Buchanan has made it is life’s work for some reason to defend Demjanjuk.

Quite possibly because some powerful lobbies tried to frame Demjanjuk as the camp commander "Ivan The Terrible", and are now hounding Demanjuk to save face, after it embarassingly turned out that Demanjuk was a peon, and not anything close to a camp commander. Buchanan helped expose what was being done, and he has never been forgiven since.

Pat Buchanan is one of the biggest racists in this country.   You and some other people share that opinion.  I've spent a fair amount of time around Pat, and I've watched him interact with Blacks, Jews, Italians, Greeks, and Mexican Americans.  I've never seen him be anything but cordial to any of them.  People who don't quite understand academic arguments quite often label people based on misperceptions.  I believe you are engaging in that sort of thing here.  You're not the first to do it, so I pretty much take your and their criticisms in stride.

If he is still a member of the GOP, he should be booted ASAP as he is an embarrassment to the party and the country.  Well, I don't like all of Pat's stances.  I've stated that.  I'm not sure what his registration is today.  Last I heard he was a member of the Reform Party.  So was I for a while.

MSNBC paints him as a conservative to discredit the GOP.  I agree with that.  It's also my take that for years MSNBC hasn't needed Pat to trash the GOP or Conservatives.  BTW, I trash the GOP quite often these days.  I don't need Pat to do it either.

Buchanan is well known to have defended Nazis and even denied that that Holocaust ever happened. He once called Hitler “an individual of great courage, a soldier’s soldier in the Great War, a leader steeped in the history of Europe, who possessed oratorical powers that could awe even those who despised him.”  You're getting somewhat repetitive here.  Pat did defend one old man that he wasn't convinced was getting a fair shake in our courts.  I know that some people think that anyone charged with war crimes is guilty from the get-go, but they not only deserve their day in court, but there should be very solid evidence produced that they are guilty before we agree to let them be taken from the U.S.  Under Bill Clinton's Justice Department, Pat didn't think that bar had been reached and he defended the guy.  While you may think that's a good deal for a war criminal, the guy was only suspected of being a war criminal.  He hadn't been convicted.  There was a lot of negative coverage in the press.  Hardly anyone was making sure the "i"s were dotten and the "t"s were crossed on his behalf.  I don't have a problem with someone doing that.  Yes he did make some accurate comments about Hitler.  Look, I hate what Hitler stood for.  I think it's too bad we couldn't put a bomb on his head years before we ended WWII.  That being said, the little painter built a political and military machine that was startlingly effective.  People should be aware of that.  They should understand how a guy like Obama with no real credible executive experince and cleary dangerously unqualified could reach the level of doing some of the things that Hitler and Mussolini did.  Today they don't have a clue.  If Pat wasn't dismissed so soundly by folks like you, they could learn a thing or two from his books.  And that knowledge could help us to not make some of the same mistakes.  Pat's contention concerning one of the death camps was that the way to story was told, he didn't think the NAZIs could have accomplished what they were charged with there.  Would I waste my time on an argument like that decades after the fact?  Absolutly not.  None the less, I do not think that Pat is a Holocaust denier at all.

In addition to his hatred of the nation of Israel and love for the Palestinians, he has close ties to the KKK.  I don't know what Pat's connection to the KKK is.  I don't frequent the KKK web sites, so you may know about it than I do.  I've not been aware of him supporting the KKK, or any of it's members.

The KKK is something you should know something about as it sounds like you have a white robe and dunce cap in your closet.  You've pretty much outed yourself as a person who makes outrageious comments.  Here you go again.  I put up with folks like you, because given enough rope, folks like you destroy yourselves more often than not.  I've never frequented KKK web sites.  I've never read their literature.  I've never known members of the KKK.  I've never attended meetings.  I don't have a white robe, and it sounds like you must have gotten the last dunce cap.  Other than that, your charges are quite accurate, in light of nothing you charged me with is remotely connected to reality.  And seeing how easily you cast conscience aside trying to infer I am a KKK member, I am reminded of the charges you are quite happy to hurl at Pat.  Your credibility isn't exactly pristine here.

He is a featured writer on David Duke’s website.  Earlier you stated that Bay Buchanan was a featured writer on Dukes Site.  So which is it.

What Buchanan said about blacks benefiting from slavery was and is a position held by the Ku Klux Klan yesterday and today.  Please point to the nation on the African Continent where Blacks are better off today, than Blacks in the United States.  It takes a person with a little knowledge and understanding to comprehend that this does not mitigate the negatives associated with slavery.  Slavery is a terrible thing to relegate other human beings to.  Did Pat also state that slavery was not wrong?  I'd like to be linked to such a comment by Pat.  Since you're the expert on all things negative that Pat has stated, this should be easy for you to come up with.

Pat showed his customary sensitivity when he called the 1967 Sharpeville Massacre in South Africa, in which 67 blacks were killed, “whites mistreating a couple of blacks.”  I'd like to see three paragraphs that include this statement.  I'd like to see the paragraph before and after this comment, and the one where it actually resides.  I'll be waiting for you to provide a link

We would all be better off if Pat Buchanan left the party and even better if he left the country.  Once again, you're getting a bit repetitive.  You've already made your thoughts known on this, so repeating it doesn't impress.

He and you prefer a lily white neighborhood with no Jews.  I have dated Jewish women.  I have friends that are Jewish.  I worked for a guy a few years back that was Jewish.  He was a very nice guy, very kind to his employees and an all around great guy.  You don't know me.  You damn sure don't know Pat.  You're a malcontent unfit to post on this forum.  Some of the things you are posting here, are quite vile, untruthful, and slanderous.

FYI, my neighborhood and my friends are a melting pot of many different nationalities and I like it that way. How about you?  How do I like your neighborhood?  I'm not familiar with it.

Did you answer the last question I asked you?  Just to help you, I'll let you know that you didn't.  Why was that?  For a guy hurling all these charges, you should at least be able to accept a few questions.

As longtime readers know, in the past several years, I've gotten a lot of death threats, ALL of them from Muslim residents of the United States a/k/a the "moderate" ones. Three of the four have been prosecuted, but the Justice Department refuses to pursue the most scary and frequent of the death threat perpetrators (Lola Elzein, who contacted me six times with escalating threats of rape, torture, and death to myself and my family members). But yesterday, I got a not-so-veiled threat from a man named Chad Castagana, who is on the right . . . the far, far, nutty right. He was, in the past, an alleged frequent commenter on Free Republic under a fake name (not to say Freepers are like him, most are not), and he has a far-right blog.
