EXPOSITION PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Josue Luna is free on bail, suspected of being an accessory in a deadly hit-and-run. His wife is in jail facing much more serious charges.

"I regret it every night, every day," said hit-and-run suspect Josue Luna. "I pray for their family, I pray for my family."

Josue Luna talks about the night that changed two families' lives. Luna was in the passenger seat when his wife, Claudia Cabrera, allegedly ran a red light and hit two USC students. Eighteen-year-old Adrianna Bachan was killed and 19-year-old Marcus Garfinkle was seriously injured. Luna and his wife left the scene. Wednesday, he admitted that was a mistake.

"We panicked, great fear came through our minds," said Luna. "We knew our life had changed we didn't know what to do. I mean I was scared, I had my child in the back

Here is an excellent answer to monster Luna's wheedling plea for forgiveness: The Virtue of Hate

And I quote:

I pray that Adrianna Bachan’s parents will find peace, and that Marcus Garfinkle will fully recover, and that the friends and families of those beautiful freshmen will find comfort in their love for them. But I am unable to understand, and unprepared to believe, that their path to healing must pass through the country of forgiveness.

"I picked him up lightly from his shoulders, under his shoulders," said Luna. "I laid him out across the sidewalk, I made sure his head didn't hit the ground, 'cause I held his head." Luna was arrested at the Mexican border as he returned to the U.S. Friday.

Yeah, he's sorry now. And wants credit for making sure his victim's head didn't hit the ground too hard. He left him to die.

POS. Why is he out on bail?

Calling them "people" is rather flattering. They are heartless, cold monsters who killed... most likely driving drunk...who physically moved a possibly dead person from their windshield, drove off, had to be hunted down and now seek to portray themselves as decent citizens, she a "schoolteacher," he a "carpenter." As though these ordinary occupations exonerate them, or we should all say, Oops everyone makes mistakes.

And, what galls me most, they committed their crime in the company of their 7-month old child.

It looks to me like an invitation for him to flee to Mexico successfully this time. May-hee-ko will not extradite if death penalty is being considered.

Is there no way a class action lawsuit can be served on the lowlife politicians who refuse to follow the constitution on behalf of the innumerable families who have suffered this fate?

There is something evil about the reaction of these two and do not deserve any sympathy......

yes, this is one more reason to seal the boarder. it is hightime to stop criminals from using mexico (a cess pit)as a safe haven. since mexico wont deport death penalty cases, adn seeing as it is so easy for these mexicans to get back home, the mexicans over here are in effect exempt from the death penalty, they just run for the boarder.

high time to send out priovate hit squads and do in these scum when they flee.

we can thank liberal bush for this mess, him and the like so mc pain are so open boarder, it makes me puke.

to hell witht he republicans that wont seal the boarder, there should not even be debate amoung conservatives, if you dont seal teh boarder, you should not be considered fit to serve.

a civil war will be coming soon, we got to stop this invasion cold.

The border with Mexico should have been closed on 9/12/2001. Period. End of story. Something stinks that that was not done, and still not done.
