What, are Congressional hearings suddenly supposed to be about facts and evidence and logic?
Gore is like a turd that won’t flush

You could have a London cab driver reading the Manhattan phone book and people would think it's wonderful! Or you could have a Chicago street organizer reading a teleprompter and (some) people would think it's wonderful!

A very good reason then to have every Republican avoid the levefest and hold their own "conference" outside the hearing room with contradictory witnesses. They could have actual members of the climate field instead of a profiteer.
Or Republicans could approach the "questioning" as democrats to. They should preface their questions with information quoting from climate change skeptics. Their only questons to Gore (in the final 10 seconds) should be, "Your personal profit from your agenda of climate alarm is over $100 million. When will you have enough money?"

Now, if one can only prove that cig smoking actually combats global warming It does, it causes millions of plants to be grown every year. But it's done for profit so those must be evil non-CO2-sucking plants just like the trees in the managed paper mill tree farms.

This whole climate fiasco is going to unravel over the next few years. I think we saw a preface to the coming undoing of the radical environmental movement over this during the high gas prices of last year and which won probably temporarily to the expiration of the offshore drilling ban. I think that if the economy continues to struggle we are going to see increasing anger and skepticism towards the Climate pirates like Gore. I also believe we are going to see some very cold winters in the coming years. I wouldn’t be tying my political future to Global Warming and those that do will find it increasingly unpopular.

The Democrats have a lot to learn about the right of free speech under the US Constitution. Congress Henry Waxman's (D-CA) refusal to expose Al Gore's sci-fi comedy-horror testimony to proper, independent scrutiny by the House minority reeks of naked fear, Monckton said from the airport Thursday evening.
Waxman knows there has been no 'global warming' for at least a decade. Waxman knows there has been seven and a half years' global cooling. Waxman knows that, in the words of the UK High Court judge who condemned Gore's mawkish movie as materially, seriously, serially inaccurate, 'the Armageddon scenario that he depicts is not based on any scientific view,' Monckton explained
