The smart thing to do was to use the cartridge (one of my pet peeves) as an excuse to get your wife’s buy in to buy a fire arm to shoot the free ammo with.

Hey honey there is all this 22 ammo out in the yard and I don’t want the kids plying with it so I just have to go out and buy a pistol/rifle to shoot it up so they don’t mess with it.

You forgot ... and so I don’t hit the rounds with a hammer instead and end up in the hospital. Yep, that’s why I need a gun.

I found this in the first year or so that I got back into detecting, most from parks and school yards...

Since then I've found about 5X that, and eyeball found a whole clip of .380 to boot (homey was gonna be WAY bummed when he got to the drive-by and realized he only had one in the chamber, if that...)
