WASHINGTON Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano met with the American Legion on Friday to apologize for a right-wing extremism report written by her agency, and the veterans group walked away from the meeting mollified.
Napolitano blamed one of her agency's analysts for prematurely sending out the intelligence assessment to law enforcement, according to Craig Roberts, an American Legion member who attended the meeting. The report says veterans returning from Iraq or Afghanistan could be susceptible to right-wing recruiters or commit lone acts of violence.

I don’t know about her resigning. She so very fits the loon administration. Has he hired anyone who has actually done anything in their life before becoming a dhimmicrat slug?

A person I know who works with vets on a daily basis say they are pissed at the current administration...and that’s putting it mildly...very mildly.

Despite the furor among some Republicans, party leaders did not bring it up in a meeting with President Barack Obama and on Thursday. House Republican leader John Boehner had indicated it likely would be discussed Thursday. But his spokesman, Kevin Smith, said the topic was not broached. Balless Boehner

Napolitano blamed one of her agency's analysts... One, its never their fault. its always someone else. And, two, I'm surprised the Bush administration wasn't blamed.

The buck just never stops at all with these folks. “He did it.” “I didn’t know.” “I was unaware.” Geez Louise, how disgusting.
It goes out with your name on it, under your leadership — guess what? It’s YOURS.

The top dogs may be mollified, but I’m not. If true then we need some more people to resign ~ not just Napolitano.

Napolitano blamed one of her agency's analysts for prematurely sending out the intelligence assessment to law enforcement Oh, those lovable knuckleheads ... sending out threat assessments before the purported threats have been redacted or minimized for public consumption. D'oh!
It's the content of the thing, not how it's worded. This Napoleonic little Janet person has "apologized" for the editing and the timing, nothing else.

susceptible to right-wing recruitersWow! When did we start using recruiters? Where can I sign up?

I’m stunned - the vets are sick to death of Obama??? Who would’a’ thunk. Along with a whole bunch of the rest of us....
I personally think returning Vets will be a great boon to those of us who are fighting for the very soul of our country.
