WASHINGTON — A Kansas Republican congressman criticized U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Friday for telling Congress the Obama administration may try to relax some limits on sharing gun-trace data.

Rep. Todd Tiahrt issued a statement saying Holder "should read the Tiahrt amendment before giving any further misleading comments about it."

Tiahrt wrote the 2003 law that restricted release of certain gun-related information, which previously was public. The law has expanded over the years and is typically attached to a spending bill each year.

Among other things, the laws prohibit the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from disclosing gun-trace data to the public and require that certain records submitted to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System be destroyed after 24 hours.

The ONLY ones who want Trace Data laws relaxed are gun grabbing POLITICIANS like Bloomberg, Rooty and Daley. Plus the Brady Bunch, the SPLC and their ilk so they can harass and sue individual gun owners. Holder's own ATF and most all other law enforcement agencies want the Tiahrt amendment kept as is.

So, is Holder the chief LEO in the US, or a Politician?!?
(rhetorical. I know what he is)

Holder never should have been approved by the senate. If anyone, HE should have been filibustered!

NOTE: The 2nd Amendment is SELF-incorporated to all government entities at every level. It is MORE ABSOLUTE than the 1st Amendment, or any of the others, because the wording forbids not only CONGRESS, but ANYONE from infringing on it. The 1st says “Congress shall make no law...”. The 2nd say “shall NOT be infringed!” Period! End of debate!
