CDC is saying they are the same.I am listening now.
If they’re the same, not some sort of recent mutation conferring greater virulence, then the specter of resistance due to genetic inheritance will get raised by leftist ideologues. Add that to the Tamiflu brouhaha already evident on leftist blogs, and there may be material for Napolitano’s act yet.
Wonder if any of those kids from that high school in NY who went to Mexico are ill.
Or perhaps the people in the US are healthier from the start and can fight it off?
Geeze, this is a weird one.
I think there is a press conference at 3 PM today from New York. They should be able to tell us if the tests are positive.
No, he’ll blame Bush.
Had a buddy in NJ who passed away (ME said double pnemonia) after a week long bout of “the flu.” He was in a doctor’s care and was on anti-biotics. He complained of difficulty breathing and was getting ready to go to the hospital. While putting on his shoes, he laid back on the bed.....and died. This was a healthy, fit 53 year old male with a physically demanding job. This was in Feb. this year.
Had your buddy traveled outside the country in the recent past before his passing?
I don’t believe so. However, the neighborhoods he worked are rife with illegals. (Washington Hts, Harlem, NYC)
Hmmmm....well, THAT could explain it....So sorry you lost him....
He'll probably blame America's demand for drugs for luring drug gangs across the border, and say the drug gangs brought the virus north through no fault of their own. They were just supplying the US demand for illegal drugs.
And, he might also blame US gun sellers who might have had contact with customers who later sold the guns to Mexicans and caught the flu during the transaction, then brought it back north.
He'll have no trouble finding reasons to blame America.
I make the claim that it was HE and HE alone who brought it into the U.S.
They can’t call it Bush’s fault anymore. I think they’ll go with “Cheney’s Revenge.” ;)
