Right now, we have a bad choice. Either Kathleen Selebius becomes Secretary of HHS, or in 2010, she’s elected to the U.S. Senate. We lose, either way. The question is, in which capicity does she do less damage?

Where does Sebelius do less damage?

Easy -- in the Senate. At least there, she can run the risk of getting voted out after just one term. In the Empty Suit's cabinet, she could easily be there until 2017, or (I fear) longer yet if he decides to try this Dictator-for-Life thing that I won't put past him.
