Missing 3-year-old's body found in N.J. river Police search for uncle who family members say left with girl in a 'rage'
PASSAIC, N.J. - The body of a 3-year-old girl has been found in a northern New Jersey river, just hours after police say her uncle left with her and told family members "to watch the 6 o'clock news tonight".
Janiay Rievas was found around 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Passaic River, police said.
Authorities searched for Juan Mendez, 21, whose abandoned car was found on a bridge over the river. Mendez had been living with family members in Passaic.
Police say he left with the girl at around 6 a.m. White said family members told police Mendez "left in a rage and said to watch the 6 o'clock news tonight."

The little girl was last seen with 21-year-old Juan Mendez, believed to be her uncle.
A sedan with New Jersey plates, which police believe belongs to Mendez, was found abandoned with the doors open on the Gregory Avenue Bridge over the Passaic River a short time later.
Police divers have recovered a body, and officers have confirmed the identity as that of Jafiya Rivas.
Divers, police dogs and a helicopter continue to scour the area for Mendez.

This is I’m sure a stupid question I’ll get around to but:
My brother in law is a lawyer here in Florida.
He and I have talked (while sitting along the banks of his Suwanee River home)about the Florida bar.
Though there are about 40 percent conservative Republicans that are members, the bar spends vast amounts of money on liberal baby killers and dems.
Is this how things are in Calif too? The minority can kiss off? And as in any union they can take your dues and spend it on crap you do not support?
