Is it just my imagination or all the states experiencing these large deployments overseas all Red states?
That's a little more encouraging...in the next few months, with some being sent to Afghanistan and some for "domestic duty" (normally in Florida, that means hurricanes).

As a Floridian I thank you for this story,
And don’t fret, ya done good.
Just one more thing to think of if a bad hurricane season erupts. Or rioting breaks out.
I’ll pray for our neighbors going off to protect us. and worry why obamma lamma wants our Guard for “domestics” also.
My DH is on his 6th deployment ... and we live in a blue state. (California)
My grandson deploys to Afghanistan in Sept., so we are concerned. I’m also concerned about a possible “domestic” army — read flu, etc.
