The problem with today's GOP leadership is that they hate Ronald reagan, HATE the 1994 Congress, and LOVE Nelson Rockefeller, Gerald ford and Bob Michel.

Ronaldus Magnus was the only resaon the GOP didn't become an irrelevant 3rd Party behind the Libertarians in the 1970's. The Tea Parties are only a tip of the iceberg for those of us Conservatives who believe the GOP is turning into Democrat-lite, who'll take away our freedom just a little big slower.

There was a very good reason Newt was able to toss Bob Michael out on his ear, and a very bad reason Bob liked things just the way they were...how did Newt forget that?
