Has anyone considered that wind generation “farms”, remove energy from the the natural wind flow currents, hence wind mills alter the local wind flow, and as such could/will change the local climate....

I’ve long wondered that. Kinda like hydro being “clean”, yet turning ecologically favorable warm & muddy rivers into cold & clear - a devestating change to whatever lived there. Wind presumably will start screwing with weather patterns (esp. when implemented on state-supplying scales). Solar will cause local temperature changes.

Reality is: we do have an “environmental footprint”, and while it can be tidied it cannot be eliminated - and our social demands dictate it be big and stay big.
