My 2 pence worth.

Being a Brit, and not being exposed to firearms in everyday activities, the idea of a classifieds for guns seems obviously a bit strange to me!

I don't have a problem with it though, and although I have reservations about undesirables using this service to get weapons for terrorist activities, I think it's a good idea for gun fans and users to buy and sell their kit.

I think the majority of genuine gun owners have the gile and vision not to sell their unwanted kit to dubious characters.
I'm not sure the new US administration will see it that way though.

Aside from the use of the internet, classifieds for guns is the way it has been in the United States as long as there have been classified ads. I am sure it was that way in Great Britain before 1920, as well, and crime was much lower then.

A very fond memory of mine is going with my father to buy a pump shotgun that he discovered though a classified ad about 1964.

Here’s a tip. The bad guys don’t use legal means to get firearms.

The “new US administration”, and its comrades-in-mischief in the Congress, see all of us as “dubious characters” ...
