Repubs get the committee chairmanships, and pretty much control of the agenda.
They had this and on paper and couldn’t do anything with because of the likes of McCain, etc.
Good synopsis. Things are changing quickly and we need to be ready to pick up the pieces with new faces and common sense solutions.

The RINO-led GOP has been coopted by the dems. RINOs get elected because they are already like dems. So voting for a GOP candidate will get you a RINO—in most and all of the important positions.
Conservatives can only win—eventually—by creating a political party that mirrors their moral, social and political aspirations. It took the demrat left at least 60 years to get where they are today. Conservatives must be willing to plan, be patient and be persistent. The demrat left has built its current position like a house of cards (deception, disinformation, lies and false promises). These structures are subject to sudden and catastrophic destruction.
Like the Soviet Union’s sudden and catastrophic collapse, an American communist state will suffer the same fate. Human yearning for freedom is too strong to be contained by a bunch of ideologues who will most certainly be forced to resort to torture and summary executiion of its own citizens, gulags and insane asylums to attempt to keep the masses in check.

Great post. My family’s history goes back to prior to 1653 (year that my first ancestor was born in the U.S. (well, on this continent). We have a strong military tradition in our family (6 family members having spent time in the “Sand Box” during this current war) that dates back to the Revolutionary War. This country has lost it’s way since it’s founding with the current “crop” of “public servants” doing nothing but serving their own interests. I agree that Conservatives will need to find a way to develop a real Conservative party in order to bring the nation back to it’s senses.
