Really? Well I just don’t see why it is a big surprise that a pro-choice Dem would nominate a pro-choice health secretary...did some really believe that Obama would put a pro-life person in this job? I think abortion is lost in terms of the government...we must work to change the minds and hearts of women...no politician will ever fix this.

The reason why no politician can fix the abortion problem is because the courts have taken over the issue. If the legislatures in the states or a popular vote of citizens in the states had dealt with the problem of abortion, the issue would be much less rancorous.

A rational President would select someone for HHS Secretary whose medical expertise extended to something a bit beyond chopping babies into parts.
