Sign Petition Against Olbermann's Raise

Sign the petition to protest Olbermann's nearly doubling of his salary, after GE accepted taxpayer funding. As you know, Olbermann has been on a real anti-American rant regarding bonus' and CEO pay. All the while, negotiating a 3.5 million dollar per annum increase for himself! Let's flood GE with these petitions.

Watching people with CEO-grade pay whining about CEO pay while doing sub-CEO-grade work is always hilarious.

MSNBC’s brand is bankrupt, so they might as well bankrupt the channel, too.

It is free enterprise. They can pay him as much as they want.

That is a perfect response, to a very imperfect situation. Obama fired Rick Waggoner, think he would fire Olbermann? Just kidding.

...exactly, and while he is an idiot the fact is of all the buffoons at that station he is probably the only one to spur the useful idiots in TV land to watch MSNBC.

He should make a lot more than he does. I mean on reality shows, people make an ass out of themselves for free, but he does do it every weeknight.

I work for GE and the division I work in...no salary increases for anyone this year.

Nice to see that our sacrifice is going to such a worthy cause... /sarc

You’ve gotta be kidding. They are losing money hand over fist, and they are giving the chief incompetent a raise during this recession? Anyone who owns GE stock needs to complain about this.

I worked for GE for 26 years, and survived untold numbers of layoffs during the Welch years. My number came up early in 2007, but I feel sorrier for folks like you, who are enduring the audacity of Immelt, than I do for myself. Good luck, my friend.

There's nothing that tells us how low NBC has sunk more than the fact that they employ olbermann.

They’re paying Uberdoffus for getting Barak elected and Barak will award GE contracts, simple as that. I won’t petition, just show them that they are still relevant.
