Yea, we thought 10 days was a long time also. But if it comes back positive, her day care will probably be quarantined. I think there are about ten kids total with about five at any given time. All the kids are under five (not kindergarten). It will be interesting for her and the parents of the kids. How long does the flu last. Seems that after 10 days everybody that is going to get it will have already gotten it. So who will they be quarantining?

I am not sure. I think if other kids start getting symptoms, she will get shut down. Quarantining is probably the wrong word.
She is on an Air Force Base so they may be a bit more restrictive.
The child is a child of an Air Man and the CO has already talked to my sister about the possible things that might happen if the baby is positive.
Very strange really and complicated, but that just might be Air Force precautions.
