I think you are a bit confused.

How much “help” will any “Third Party” candidate get from the Republican Party?

ZERO!

Therefore, what have you solved?

I followed the Pullido race. I wish she had won, but NOBODY really expected her to win. That is a HEAVY Democrat District and you need to be realistic.

More to the point: NO POLITICAL PARTY WILL EVER SUPPORT ALL THE CANDIDATES YOU WANT IT TO SUPPORT -— there just isn't enough time, money or manpower, EVER, in any Party organization.

More to the point: Any candidate who DEPENDS on the RNC to win does not have much of a campaign!

The RNC and the Republican Congressional Committee looked at the facts. I do not even think Pullido managed to get ANY real TV advertising going. Pullido’s own website kind of sucked, after the Primary. She could have put together some YouTube type advertising, attacking her opponent, and she did not even do that. Pullido also could have bought some Cable TV advertising and some radio advertising, at VERY low cost. She failed to do that. (If she did do it, she should have posted it to her web page -— she did not do so!)

Again, I like Pullido, and I hope she learned from her experience and tries again. However, it is not fair to expect the National Republican organizations to waste money on inexperienced sacrificial lambs who do not know what they are doing, can can not raise any money on their own. Look, I ran for State Rep once, only to catch the sitting Republican State Rep, who was retiring, campaign door to door for my Democrat OPPONENT!

I know how it feels!

Likewise, I had NO financial help from my own Party, since the Party was in the hands of liberals, at the time.

I did not get some Don Quito nut job idea to start a “new party” -— Instead, several of us, in Kansas TOOK OVER the State GOP!

That is what I suggest you do.

We got DOZENS of people elected, after our take over.

Third Parties never elect any conservatives, they only help the Democrats win elections.

you need to be realistic

Funny how they always say that when it comes to supporting conservatives.

Which is exactly the amount of support they give conservative Republican candidates. What's the difference? Why carry their baggage?

Too bad your effort didn't have enough staying power to keep Republicans like Sam Brownback from supporting leftwing radicals like Sebelius.

The Party is in disarray and there is a great resorting going on. That is quite understandable. There are dozens, maybe hundreds, of groups, some formal and some informal that are calmly working to rebuild. After the election I began a correspondence with perhaps a hundred dedicated people that I have met over the years over the future direction of the Party. That number immediately dropped about in half after one or two communications and then began to pick back up. Now at any one time it may be twice that with people drifting in and out of our circle. These people are in intertwining groups and interest is seemingly picking up as things begin to focus and issues become clear.

One thing that is noticeable is that there is little or none of the bickering and infighting that you see here. Cooler heads are prevailing. What is emerging is breathtaking. It is a vision of a Republic that we can be proud to pass on to our children and grandchildren. It is Reagan's Shining City on a Hill. Maybe, just maybe, there is one last battle in this old warhorse.

We have open field running. Some of the state party structures and so moribund that they are ripe for overthrow. The big mouths that pontificate mightily here are nowhere to be found and that is a good thing. The conversation is thoughtful, deliberate, and sincere. The cleansing winds of change are sweeping aside the old and bringing in the new. I will go willingly with the old but knowing that the desire for freedom is eternal.

For a Free and Bountiful Republic
