Even if there were no ties to Al Qaeda there was very sound strategic reason to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam.

I had never bought in on the obvious stupidity that a man who so tightly controlled his country was not aware of Al Qaeda training camps within his borders. Nor, did I think he was too stupid to see the use he could get out of terrorist groups which could strike his enemies yet leave him innocent appearing.

The left wing nuts need to lie to themselves as much as they do to us to buy into the crap they believe.

This is the foundation of the problem. THEY LIE TO THEMSELVES! That is why they can print and broadcast such absolutely backwards information with no qualm of conscience.
