I do see your point though.

In early 1976, nobody outside of Georgia had heard of Jimmy Carter.

In 1992, people outside of Arkansas either had never heard of Bill Clinton or they remembered his awful speech at the 1988 DNC Convention.

In 2000, few people had any clue of who GWB was other than GHWB’s son and some knew he was governor of Texas.

Obama has been a media darling since 2004, but prior to that NOBODY had heard of him.

Yet another reason to overthrow the liberal media mavens and their RINO syncophants...I wonder how well his approval ratings would be if he got 10% of the grilling GWB or RWR received.

I have basically sworn off all nation network news (except Fox on ocassion)and since I am trying to keep my blood pressure in check I don't read the NYTIMES, BOSTON GLOBE, WASHINGTONPOST et al. Between FR and the rest of the net I am still far more better informed than my peers who continue to be addicted to media take junk food
