Mercy...are you WRONG! We have to change the Constitution to insure that PLAIN LANGUAGE is interpenetrated as it is written (and insert such language as required). That is the problem! Too many of the Supreme Court judges seem to think that it is their responsibility to interpret the words as they wish. Damn them all...

Given that it's not going to be you or me rewriting the Constitution...who today do you trust to rewrite the document our Founders gave us? The language is plain now, and judges misinterpret it (or ignore it) -- what changes would stop judges from misinterpreting the new language?

I fear putting a rewrite of the Constitution in the hands of 21st century political hacks would open 1000 Pandora's boxes.
