Justice Napolitano?
The homeland security secretary might just like the ring of it. Janet Napolitano declined to rule out being interested in an appointment to the Supreme Court when she was asked on "FOX News Sunday" about speculation that she might be on the list of potential candidates to replace outgoing Justice David Souter.
"I've got my hands full with the flu right now, and I'm just going to stick with that," she said.
When host Chris Wallace told Napolitano, "That's a non-answer," she replied: "That's all you're gonna get."

I have my doubts that she’s near the top of any list. Her self-inflicted wound is too recent.

After that 9-page memo which was so ambiguous as to provide NO information, and so coarse-grained that it classified HUGE sections of the public as “possibly, maybe, right-wing extremists”, even against the advice of her own people, she has shown herself to be incapable of good judgment, uncaring of justice, and seriously offensive to the good sensibilities of common sense; she is far too arrogant, in my opinion, to be on the USSC.
I have not heard one way or the other, but she appears to favor comfortable shoes and maybe flannel shirts?
After watching her on FoxNews Sunday and seeing how so many things that were said went compleltely over her head she is not smart enough to serve on the SC! How exactly did she ever get to the position she is in? It is very scary having someone so incompetitent in charge of DHS.

In Dumb0’s mind being Guv of a border state (and a Dim) was enough to make it seem as if she knew all about Homeland Security. How sad.

Since when did smart enter into Obama’s political/court selections? Radical, yes. Smart, no.
