Discussing the Republican listening tour conducted by Former Governors Jeb Bush (FL) and Mitt Romney (MA), radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said they are "embarrassed" by Sarah Palin. Limbaugh said the underlying issue of these speaking engagements is that Bush and Romney "hate" and "despise" the Alaska Governor and former running-mate of John McCain. Limbaugh added they have "presidential perspirations" and called their tour an "early campaign event." Rush concluded this "need to praise" President Obama leaves him "wanting."

I think they’re more jealous of Sarah. Don’t change Sarah your wonderfull just the way you are!! Or mabey they’re jealous or Todd?? I sure am!! LOL
I think it is jealousy.
But, but...Romney’s supporters have told me that Rush supports Mitt...?
Glad that SP blew off their invite.
Rush also said Palin was the most articulate voice for standard, run of the mill, conservatism.
"Well, conservatism isn't dead because it cannot be dead. Conservatism is not manmade. Conservatism is a philosophy. It's not a scheme. It's not a plan to figure out what the American people need and want, and then give it to them. That's populism! Conservatism is a philosophy based on God-given natural rights. The Declaration of Independence, is that dead? Of course not! What's dead is leadership on the Republican side, and because there is a lack of leadership of someone who has the substantive understanding of liberty and the political skills to advance it, we get all this cockamamie nonsense about the death of our principles. Our principles are not dead! Our principles cannot die. I'll tell you, in a lot of ways this reminds me of Jimmy Carter and his malaise speech. He blamed the American people for his miserable failures as president. Now we have conservatives and conservative wannabes, many of whom have held high office or hold high office or speak and write from formerly conservative outposts, who blame conservatives for their own miserable failures. What is lacking is not ideas and principles. What's lacking is the right people to speak those ideas and principles, folks. Admit it."
Hope so. I haven't seen that confirmed as yet. Last I heard, she hadn't given them an answer.
Katherine Harris, remember Katherine Harris....
I read she might be involved in it. I hope not..after the crap that came out of their mouth about her, perhaps she has not been made aware of it, but she needs to stay AWAY from those RINO losers. She won’t be able to change them and make them see the light. They are what they are
I wonder how many RINO’s would support the “Fairness Doctrine” in order to silence Rish and other RINO exposers?
Another Bush? Who the hell thinks the American public will accept another one from that clan.
Myth Romney has recruited Jebediah Hussein Bush to rid the party of right to lifers like Palin.
Your point?
Spot on.
Sorry, J.E.B., Sorry, Romney.. you guys don't get it. You think it's about building a winning consensus so a Republican (like you) can get elected President.
It isn't.
It's about the American people being informed and educated to why a particular principle or policy is in their best interests--principles and policies that listen to history and facts and human nature and most of all to almighty God for their formulation, not to polls and your presidential ambitions.
Without God, the watchers watch in vain.
I thought I had read where she accepted but after hearing/reading what came out of that meeting I hope she has told the ‘elites’ to shove it...or makes their sorry butts apologize!
Well, this proves that neither Jeb or Mitt are NOT conservatives worthy of our vote, NOR are they gentlemen of honor.
I’m not a Sarah fan, but the point should be made that the GOP establishment hated Reagan too before 1980.
