My point? Well, considering Palin, Harris, and a few local women that were running for office in my area, one of them being Sharon Merchant, I’d say the blue bloods in the GOP are chauvinists. I don’t think they want to allow prominent women to take leadership roles within the party.

There I said it.

No, I don’t think the blue bloods are chauvinists, I think they are elitists.

They don’t feel comfortable with populist politics, where you speak what you believe in a non apologetic manner. They are about “manners”, “civility” and not rubbing someone the wrong way.

They are about apologizing for what we believe, and Sarah doesn’t do that.
