Mr. Song Millinery on Woodward Avenue in Detroit has struck a sour note with Aretha Franklin. It was her inaugural hat that caused a flood of orders from around the world. And now, the Queen of Soul wants royal treatment from store owner Luke Song for wearing it.

"I think that I should be getting big time royalties from him. That's what I think," said Franklin in an interview with WWJ's Vickie Thomas at Sunday's NAACP Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner.

Urethra news is common here. Here’s an example - one of her vacant burnt houses was across the street from a school where kids would get raped and killed regularly. City tore it down on an emergency order after # ? was murdered. When they were tearing the garage down, in the rubble were some of the Urethra’s gold records. And by the way, she not only owes back taxes, but also the costs accrued by the city to tear down some of her burnt hulks.

If she wanted royalties, it was her responsibility to get that in writing with the hat shop BEFORE she wore the hat in public. She doesn't have a contract and has no right to demand payment after the fact. It's not even a product of her effort or investment.
