Message to the student: If you don't accept liberal premises then you are inherently unethical. You are not a good person, and you will not get good grades in your courses here.
We define the language and you will submit. Or we will destroy you and your career ambitions. If you oppose our ideology we will shout you down and subject you to ridicule and scorn.
This is just one of the tactics higher education institutions use to mold the minds of our youth. This Rock Institute gang at Penn State is a pretty far out group of people and it is clear that they intend to go all out to intimidate and convert students to their mindset. Rush Limbaugh even featured one of their papers or conferences a few years ago. If I remember correctly it was along the predictable lines of "Women, children, minorities and the poor hardest hit by global warming".
So colleges and universities pick a liberal cause and frame it as a matter of ethics, something that is unethical to oppose. Politically correct speech codes prevent open discussion of alternative or opposing ideas, and students who fail to conform are ridiculed and suffer grade reductions because of their honest views.
