My bishop came out and opposed the ND appearance, and today somebody wrote a hate-filled, raving letter to the local paper urging that the county act immediately to take away the local property tax exemption for the Church because the Church is nothing but an evil, tyrannical institution full of child molesters and the bishop was “engaging in politics.” I was stunned that they even published it.
But it shows you how full of hatred these people are; your bishop is very liberal, but I bet he’s probably also a bit of a chicken, because he’s not up to opposing the “social justice” types who have probably always been on his side.
Which is precisely why they published it :-)
