And what’s with SUVs for rugged, independent people? I very, very rarely see an SUV that shows any signs of it ever having been off-road. It’s a pleasant surprise when I actually see a big four-wheeler SUV that’s obviously been off-road. Most of them seem to be driven by moms hauling kids and groceries around town. They’re the new minivan, just less efficient.
